Registered Dietitian, licensed and certified in the State of New York. As a member of the American Dietetic Association, the Long Island Dietetic Association, and the Greater New York Dietetic Association, she is proud to offer her services to you.

Renata received her Bachelor degree in Family, Nutrition, and Exercise Science from Queens College in New York.  She then went on to do her Dietetic Internship, along with her Master degree at Long Island's Stony Brook University Hospital where she was awarded for hard work and dedication.    

Her past and present work experience includes numerous volunteer activities, Good Samaritan Hospital, Pilgrim State Psychiatric Hospital, nursing homes, public school districts, and private counseling.   

Along with her practice at "The Rock Health & Fitness Club" in Astoria New York, Renata is also a wellness coordinator as well as an educator for the "Silver Sneakers" senior program at the health club.  Renata is also a part of an internal medical practice, where she has developed a bariatric weight loss program, as well as an instructor for Cornell University's Cooperative Extension's senior programs.

In addition, she has created newsletters and nutrition education materials for Pilgrim State Psychiatric Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Stony Brook University Hospital's outpatient clinic, and the Huntington and Bay Shore School districts. Also among numerous publications

Renata keeps current on the state of the art nutrition research, and has presented numerous lectures focusing on scientific abstracts to students and medical personnel. 

She is currently in the midst of writing a nutrition handbook, which she hopes to publish in the near future.
